In 2005 Ford came out with the Ford GT a modernized version of the Le Mans winning Ford GT40. Henry Ford wanted to beat Ferrari at Le Mans after Ferrari turned down Ford’s off to buy Enzo’s company. Ford set out to beat Ferrari and did so with the GT40 dominating the mid to late 1960’s racing. The tribute to those years are beautifully crafted in the modern day version of this race winning champion.
