Formula One rookie, Emerson Fittipaldi, in Gold Leaf Team Lotus 72 wins his first Grand Prix in the 1970 U.S Grand Prix at Watkins Glen. In just his fourth Grand Prix start, Fittipaldi qualified third and fell to eigth on the opening lap before clawing his way to the front.
