Stirling Moss's Rob Walker Lotus leads the opening lap at the Nurburgring, pursued by Phil Hill's Ferrari, Dan Gurney and Hans Herrmann in Porsches, Graham Hill's BRM, and von Trips's Ferrari. Moss would go on to score an epic win.
