Marcel Renault, together with his brothers, not only started the Renault company but also raced their products. This is an image from the heroic age of motor racing when cars travelled on public roads from city to city. Marcel was killed in the 1903 Paris Madrid race which claimed the lives of 15 other people and was stopped due to the heavy loss of life.
