The reputation of Annie Power swelled further following her highly impressive victory on New Year's Day 2014 at a rain-sodden, wind-battered Cheltenham. The six-year-old mare hammered Zarkandar by eight lengths to retain her unbeaten record and Ruby Walsh was ready to compare her with some very big names upon reaching the winner's enclosure.
She then enhanced her 2014 Cheltenham Festival claims with an effortless win in the OLBG.com 2014 Doncaster Mares' Hurdle on Town Moor to stretch her unbeaten record to ten.
