Derby winner Workforce followed up with victory at Longchamp in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe for English trainer Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore.

Stoute had never won an Arc before but saw Moore hold off a surprise challenge from Japanese entry Nakayama Festa.

Workforce travelled strongly throughout but was nearer last than first on the turn for home - until showing an excellent turn of foot in testing conditions to hit the front approaching the final furlong.
